      Development of a smart low-cost drip irrigation system

      I lead a team of 3 members to develop a low-cost sustainable drip irrigation system for marginal incomegroup farmers having less than 1 acre of land. I used image processing and soil moisture sensors embedded in a microprocessor to detect the portion of land where water is needed. Moreover, I performed simulations to find optimal dimensions of the drip pipes such that the flow of water is consistent throughout the length of the pipe.

I identified 10 key buying factors by benchmarking competitors and performing sentiment analysis, generating multiple new concepts. Analyzing 10,000+ user reviews with a tailored algorithm revealed 7 critical pain points for product improvements.In design thinking, I revamped the My Recipe App by addressing over 3 UI/UX gaps, potentially increasing user engagement and the APDEX score by 22%. My efforts in performance excellence included streamlining trend discovery of home appliances using web scraping, reducing TAT by 3 days per week.These experiences have significantly enhanced my skills in market research, design thinking, and performance optimization. The algorithmic part calculates the predictability if the user might be having symptoms of COVID-19. The project stood in the top 300 among the thousands of participants in the Hack The Crisis-India Online Hackathon.
