    • Chesapeake Energy

      Jun 2008 - May 2014

With Chesapeake Energy Corporation, I oversaw development of $275 MM Water Transfer and Disposal System in the Mississippi Lime, while leading a cross-functional team and operating the system ahead of schedule and under budget. As a Project Manager, I managed the system with yearly operating revenue of ~$60 MM. The system handled up to 400 mbpd, comprising 430 producing wells, 28 SWDs, and 455 miles of trunk line. I managed 2 of 22 rig lines with producing wells and SWDs for completion, stimulation and artificial lift to meet program requirements.• Accelerations moved the play from 44% to 97% piped water, removing ~$75K per day in opex.• Reduced pump station costs by 50%, SWD D&C costs by 20%, and improved oil separation. Show less I streamlined capital infrastructure development and operations ahead of extremely fast and variable 48 rig program. Over 80 miles of freshwater delivery and saltwater gathering projects with capex in excess of $60 MM in first year. I maintained budgets for operations in 50+ cities of challenging urban settings.• Successfully implemented up to $70 MM / year in opex and capex for water resource development.• Ensured cross-functional participation of internal departments, as well as private, federal, state, and local jurisdictions in in concert with a 48-rig schedule. • Barnett - Project Engineer

        Jun 2008 - Apr 2012
    • White Star Petroleum, LLC

      Apr 2014 - Nov 2019

During this tenure, I directed all aspects of facilities and infrastructure management, such as planning, forecasting, designing, implementing, and operating in continual coordination with team objectives. I managed the oil gathering and storage, gas gathering/compression, SWD and produced water gathering, electrical distribution and utility coordination, and upstream wellsite facilities across 5 counties in central and western Oklahoma. I supervised lean corporate staff: senior operations engineer, facility engineer, and engineering technician and support/direction of 14 field staff. Investigative due diligence for A&D initiatives exposed overreported SWD capacities effecting a 10% swing in NPV.• Successfully optimized and divested 24 MBOE in 260 miles of gas pipeline with 4 compression stations and 182 miles of oil gathering pipeline; achieving 15% reduction in compression costs.• Captured $100+K per month (>10%) in electrical utility costs through multi-year partnership.• Reduced PW pump station costs by 80% for $75K each, and PW pipeline costs by 30% for ~$80K per mile. Total system of 140,000 BWPD with 96 SWDs and 425 miles of PW gathering.• Optimized risk / reward for budgetary capital outlay by iteratively engaging all disciplines in 3 rig development plan to capture 20% savings. Show less I held full responsibility for all facets of upstream facilities, SWDs and PW gathering: planning, design, construction, and operations from the producing wellhead through disposal wellbore; including economics, financials, and regulatory affairs in the seismically active mid-continent. I worked on the system included 28 SWDs and 90 miles of gathering from over 115 padsites. Arbuckle SWDs were capable of 20 mbwpd at a mere $1.3 MM D&C, and shallow multi-zone SWDs handle up to 12 mbwpd at $750K. I designed new gas and oil gathering connections, and coordination of midstream development with E&P contracts.• Achieved 35% savings on $200K production and SWD facilities, whilst optimizing EHS perspective.• Managed the start-up facility, capturing $25K per month through electrical infrastructure. Consultant for the Oil and Gas Industry

As a Independent Consultant for the Oil and Gas industry at SeaR Consulting, I provide strategic consulting on infrastruture for both design and merger and acquisition evaluations. All phases of projects were engaged from concept ROI through planning vetting, to construction and operations, with a keen focus on precise and broad projections of health and value of facility/support infrastructures, including SWD systems. I design and estimate optimized processing components for 1 well padsites up through large centralized tank batteries and their associated midstream gathering.• Conducted full due diligence and operational eval of an SWD infrastructure company in 2.5 weeks.• High level design and capex estimation of a central tank battery (CTB) for up to 24 wells in 2 weeks, including 3-phase pipelines. Chief Energy Solutions Officer

Initiate Transactive Energy for clients beyond the meter by engaging local and regional energy markets. Optimize the energy of assets through development of load profiles, their value drivers and operational constraints, in coordination with utility and ISO markets. Appropriate application of load management and new generation through thermal and renewable technology to enhance energy, resiliency, and sustainability from all generation and load sources.Engaging and developing new electrical infrastructure that fits client objectives for energy management is the foundation. And full implementation requires 360-degree visibility in near real time, which has been proven with the orchestration of large and disparate data sets. Value is created through the application of these assets and utility relationships through existing ISO programs and negotiated rates. Show less
