  Sheffield Hallam University is one of the UK's largest and diverse higher education institutes. I worked within the Education Placements Team, which focuses on delivering a successful placement experience for students.Responsibilities & Achievements:As a project manager, I oversaw the launch of the new education placements system and collaborated with key stakeholders. In November 2018, I successfully deployed the system's test and development environments, which are used to test new functions. In February 2019, I introduced a brand-new platform that enables schools and university partners to make placement offers. This website has saved over one thousand hours and is currently responsible for sixty percent of all university placement offers. As a result of transitioning from a paper-based to an online system, I have changed critical procedures to comply with university business requirements. For example, GDPR and the storage of personal data. I also established productive partnerships with IT, registry, admissions, course directors, and university faculty leads. My first aim was to engage directly with education professionals by delivering relevant software promptly and continuously.
