      I worked here in the interim period of completion of M. A. Social Work classes and the final exams and was part of an HIV prevention project funded by UNFPA. I was also involved in the activities related to a Public-Private Partnership model Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC), Link ART Centre (LAC) and Self Help Groups (SHG).Major Accomplishments: Created M & E plan for the HIV prevention project and trained the staff on the same. Streamlined the reporting system of the project. Coordinated the baseline survey for the project.       Community Care Centre (CCC) was one of the care and support models under National AIDS Control Program, Phase III. This was a ten bedded mini hospital like system with a Medical Officer, Counselor, nurses, outreach workers, an accountant, a cook and a janitor. Project Coordinator led all activities. Ours was one of the very few CCCs that were run through a Community Based Organization (CBO).Major Accomplishments: We were able systematize the work at the CCC and further raise its ranking from C to B and then to A grade, with a well-coordinated contribution of all functionaries at the centre. The centre achieved a 10 to 40 percent improvement in most of the performance indicators including bed utilization, opportunistic infection treatment, counseling services provided and Lost to Follow Up (LFU) track back.       I worked with two projects at LEPRA Society:• Buniyad Project for the district of Jhabua & Alirajpura, that was a TB, HIV/AIDS & Leprosy intervention funded by BIG Lottery Fund• Arogya Project for the district of Indore that was a TB-HIV intervention funded by USAID.The major project activities included capacity building of front line health workers & volunteers, regular outreach to villages through Outreach Workers, systematic IEC activities and operating a mobile ICTC cum IEC van with facility for STI/RTI treatment. Other than the project activities, I was also part of routine activities of the organisation like Bike Ride (a fund rising event), & Leprosy collaboration activities.Major Accomplishments: Completed the back log activities of Buniyad Project in a short period of time, (back log was due to vacant position of district coordinator for a few months). Completed the evaluation and closing down activities of Buniyad Project for the district of Jhabua & Alirajpura. Contracted three DMCs in PPP model; two with the DTO of Jhabua and one with DTO of Alirajpura. Successfully created good coordination with other NGOs, FBOs & CBOs working in the field of TB and HIV in the districts. Trained and maintained a pool of more than 100 DOTS providers in all three districts. Won award for the contributions as an NGO partner in Indore district, Madhya Pradesh, in the field of Tuberculosis from district government health department.       Care, Support and Treatment (CST) division of NACO manages antiretroviral treatment for PeopleLiving with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) in the country through ART Centers, Link ART Centersand Care and Support Centers (CSCs). I provided comprehensive programmatic support to all activities related to care and support of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in the country and worked closely with partner organisations for performance monitoring of Care and Support Centers (CSCs). Additionally, I also assisted in the implementation of ART Centers in designated states for improving the quality and efficiency of the program. The position was also responsible for preparing guidelines, status notes, evaluation of proposals, and documentation related to care and support of PLHIV in the country.Major Accomplishments: Contributed to the development of operational guidelines, M&E system, & training module for the care and support program (Vihaan Project) for people living with HIV. Contributed to the development of TB-HIV module, Intensified Case Finding (ICF) monitoring tool and training materials for Care and Support Centers. Regularly achieved 100% reporting from CBOs & NGOs running Care and Support Centers. Managed reporting to the local fund agent of Global Fund (GFATM) for a Round IV project for NACO. Drafted replies to Parliamentary Questions, Right To Information applications, Court Cases, VIP References and Grievances for Care, Support and Treatment Division. I was a team member of the grantmaking team of NACO for the project submitted under New Funding Model (NFM) approved by Global Fund (GFATM). I was part of the core team that selected sites for establishing 350 Care and Support Centers (CSCs) and created a strategy for selecting organisations to set CSCs across the country. I was part of the core team prepared tools and procedures for a national level baseline survey for the Vihaan project.
