  During my week at KPMG, I was introduced to the world of the accounting and finance/data science sector within business. I thoroughly enjoyed rotating around the different departments at KPMG and gaining an insight into how a monumental corporation functions on the daily and what general business processes each department perform.

  Throughout my week at Splunk, I was given the opportunity to rotate around each department and gain an understanding of how each department plays their roll in maintaining, developing and selling Splunk to clients. A stand out experience was using discovery and research tools such has Discover Org and Sales force, to ultimately create a spreadsheet with 2000+ records for the Sales team.

  Just after I completed my first year at Bournemouth University, I dove at the opportunity to work for Suez again for the summer to develop my skills within the realms of IT and Business, further. I was provided the responsibility of ensuring that the networks for hundreds of Suez Recycling Plants around the UK were up and running, and if not, it was my responsibility to contact our network suppliers/forward the cases to relevant technical teams if advanced work was required to re-establish a network connection to our sites.
