  My main task was to prepare, manage and implement the international projects which were chiefly related to promoting bioenergy. The projects were mainly co-funded by different EU programmes such as Intelligent Energy Europe and the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).I was invited to Brussels to act as an evaluator of FP7 programme proposals. Subsequently in the role of consultant I supported others to make successful applications.I acted as the coordinator of the following projects (average total budget 1.5 million euros) involving about eight EU member states and associated countries:• SmartRegions - Promoting Best Practices of Innovative Smart Metering Services to European Regions (IEE/09/775) (ended)• GasHighWay – Promoting the Uptake of Gaseous Vehicle Fuels, biogas and natural gas, in Europe (IEE/08/545) (ended) • ENCROP - Promoting the production and utilisation of energy crops at European level (EIE/07/073) (ended)• BioHousing - Sustainable, comfortable and competitive biomass based heating in private houses (EIE/05/067) (ended)Additionally in several other projects I acted as the responsible person of Jyväskylä Innovation Ltd.I worked in the position since summer 2004.   I coordinated two major projects with the focus on developing internationally scalable digital services for water network leakage and water quality management as well as to develop an IoT platform to support these services. I managed both ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO/IEC27001 Information Security Management System processes from the design phase to the certification phase. During the technological phase, the digital water supply service was piloted in real water distribution supply environments in Finland, in Central Asia and in Latin America. I coordinated all pilot projects which additionally included evaluation of the distribution systems on site and communication with international partner networks.Besides supervising several large project teams I have supervised a direct report. In this latter role I wanted to emphasize work ability management, especially in remote work.I was also involved in communication, sales and marketing as well as financial, contract, product and brand management. Show less I coordinated the project which produced two business concepts for water supply, one for domestic and one for global market. The domestic concept included four different models. The project was a starting point for Pisara Digital Water Supply Business.One example of a domestic business model was the purchase of two water cooperatives' water plant operations and related network assets. After signing the sales contract, I was responsible for the implementation of the projects. One important task was to regularly inform customers about the change of water utility operator. Show less
