      Supply Planner

Planned and executed build plans for the manufacture of printed wire boards for both internal and OEM customers. Reduced printed wire board inventory by approximately 30% through aggressive demand forecasting and subsequent build plans. Determined existing inventory and sales strategy was not maximizing potential division revenue. Created a plan for eliminating excess inventory and increasing customer order fulfillment. Plan was adopted as the standard business practice for the IBM Microelectronics Division. This was accomplished by determining the correlation between historical ordering trends and resultant purchases. Was identified as an IBM Future Leader and selected to be a team member on the group established to further develop the capabilities of the Microelectronics Division’s primary planning and execution tool. Chosen to be a member of the plant’s Total Quality Management team. This objective was realized through the implementation of ISO 9001. Subsequently served as the business unit instructor for quality-related issues. Position was eliminated when the Microelectronic Division was privatized and downsized. Show less

      Engineering Manager

Lead a 6-person engineering support department. Recommend final University acceptance for all Education and General (E&G) construction and renovation projects. Verify and authorize payment requests for these projects. Serve as the primary point of contact between the University's major construction organization and Physical Plant Division. Wrote the University's first request for proposal addressing sustainability concerns approximately a year before this requirement was mandated for all University of Florida contracts. Developed a University-wide utility billing plan to introduce utility consumption accountability. Developed the Chilled Water Loop Improvement Project which has evolved into a $46.4M endeavor with an estimated ROI of 22%. Recommended against the proposed design of a $12M campus office building which envisioned combined office spaces and the University's servers because of the potential burden of unnecessary construction and operating costs. Provide an initial analysis of various issues to determine if the Office of General Counsel's opinion is required. Show less
