      This was a two-month Research Internship under SURGE Program. I worked on Interdiffusion in Nb-Al Binary System under guidance of Asso. Prof. Dr. Kaustubh Kulkarni. During the internship, I prepared an alloy using vacuum arc remelting furnace, made a solid-solid diffusion couples with alloys of different compositions, and conducted diffusion annealing experiments.

      As a master thesis student, I conducted research on Energy and strength-based criteria for intralaminar crack growth in regions with high stress gradients under Prof. Janis Varna and Prof. Patrik Fernberg. I performed numerical modelling using ANSYS MAPDL for stress analysis and strain energy release rate studies in severely loaded GFEP composite plies.
