  I lead a team of dedicated professionals committed to advancing NAIT’s polytechnic mission through strategic partnership development, fund development, and revenue generation initiatives. Our focus is on cultivating strong affinity and fostering relationships with industry stakeholders, alumni, and the wider community.In my role, I am responsible for nurturing partnerships with key industry and affinity groups to drive growth and maximize opportunities for NAIT. I actively monitor and analyze critical performance metrics to inform data-driven decision-making and foster continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, I effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders and navigate competing priorities, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.Our team's efforts have resulted in the successful securing of annual contributions ranging from $20 to $30 million. These funds are directed towards critical institutional priorities such as applied research, youth engagement programs, strategic initiatives, and comprehensive student support services. Show less In my role as the Director of Development, I offered strategic guidance to drive success in resource acquisition and relationship cultivation, positioning NAIT as a leader in polytechnic education. I oversaw the Development and Donor Relations portfolios, collaborating closely with the Deans and Research & Innovation stakeholders to synchronize partnership development strategies across the institute. Under my leadership, the fundraising team achieved exceptional results in surpassing the Essential: The NAIT campaign target, a landmark $100 million initiative. The team’s efforts culminated in raising an impressive $125 million, marking a historic milestone as the largest campaign in NAIT’s history. NAIT received a Prix d’Excellence gold award for Best Donor Relations Initiative from the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education. The award recognized The Essential Effect: 100 Reasons to Celebrate, which marked the conclusion of the campaign, positioning NAIT for continued growth and impact. Show less
