  My current role as the Head: Green Energy, within the Sustainable Energy Markets Directorate, is to drive the adoption of green technologies within the municipality with a long-term and utility scale focus.This ranges from development of road-maps for the City of Cape Town; the development of energy procurement programmes, to the detailed techno-economic analysis and technical review of more novel projects for the CCT such as Battery Energy Storage.I also provide ad-hoc technical, procurement, contract and project support to colleagues within the GDMEE branch.
