Through my mentorship, I provided valuable insights, nurtured innovative thinking, and advocated for novel problem-solving approaches, all within the framework of agile methodology—an expertise honed during my internship tenure. This informed decision-making process facilitated the timely completion and successful acceptance of the project by our esteemed client.More Details Surrounding our Project: Following the implementation of the managed access policy, Slalom Build sought an innovative solution to regulate access and manage events involving alcohol, thereby reducing corporate legal exposure. Our team, comprised of Chicago-based interns, conceptualized and developed a cutting-edge web application to control a 3D printed lock, effectively managing access company-wide. Spanning a 10-week period and endorsed by the CEO, this project adhered to agile methodology principles, enabling the intern team to not only implement features but also deliver a fully functional product, subsequently launched at the Chicago office, impacting over 400 employees. After garnering positive feedback from a diverse audience of over 200 individuals, the project transitioned to full-time employees tasked with preparing the prototype for nationwide deployment across all company locations.
