  Partner - PR-advisor - Project & Account manager. This time was amazing. We started with typewriters, Letraset and airbrushes and ended up with 3D-animations, databases and www. Our work with Ericsson access systems paved the way to PR-work for the European Commission on the Info 2000 program - about the European position in the coming information society. This was also the start of my international engagements.

  GRID-Arendal a centre collaborating with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), supporting informed decision making and awareness-raising through: * Environmental information management and assessment * Capacity building services * Outreach and communication tools, methodologies and productsWithin this position I had the pleasure of taking part in the work of the secretariat to the Climate Change Convention, representing the environmental program on the article for outreach and also coordinate the launch event of the UN year for sports and physical health in 2005.   In this period we had the global crisis in the financial sector, the establishment of Gjensidige Foundation and finally the preparation for listing at the Oslo stock exchange - as main issues. It was also a time for re-structuring, both internally and through acquisitions in new markets and sectors. Within the board I was part of the Compensation Committee. It was fascinating to be part of such a rock solid organisation during these years. First as member of board of region South and next in the Main board. Show less

  These years I worked within my own consultancy and was given the mission to set up a program for culture sector development. The task was inspired by the launch of a Norwegian strategy for Culture Sports and development - and the ministry was looking for partners in implementation. Stromme Foundation (SF) was already involved in sports. The program became substantial quite rapidly. In parallell SF entered new strategic areas and the culture program was given a separate body, Mimeta.

  Mimeta is working with culture sector development to give more people access to free creative expressions. We are focusing on what we call "the service providers to the arts" within civil societies, and are looking for:* Initiatives that give artists, producers and artistic works better protection against abuse, detention and censorship.* Initiatives that give artists and producers their democratic opportunity to influence the free exercising of their rights, mostly through culture policy processes and other broader advocacy campaigns.* Initiatives that strengthen independent platforms (venues, festivals, spaces etc) providing free, artistic expressions.I have been leading Mimeta since the idea became manifest in 2005. It represents a very special journey through politics and policies, international cooperation and partnerships - in supporting visionaries doing tremendous efforts under unpredictable and often hostile conditions. Our family has been the owner of the entity since 2016. Show less

  Steenhuset drives på fritiden av en gruppe entusiaster innenfor kultur, mat- og vin i Arendal. Tilbudet omfatter restaurant i 1ste etasje (restauratør leier lokalet), vinbar i andre og scene i tredje etasje. Huset er blant de eldste og mest særegne i Arendal.
