  This position allowed me to be a Project Manager for many different event types. One of the most memorable being the co-ordination and execution of a multi-room bi-lingual webstream where each room was streaming at the same time. This event showed me the value behind consistent planning and communication techniques between client and provider. This was my first position within the AV industry where I was employed at a busy downtown location. Due to the fast-paced nature of the property I had to learn very quickly in order to get my skills in-line with the industry standards. My customer service skills proved very useful in this client-focused role.

One of my most memorable solutions was, that we had a large medical conference where the client wanted the ability to get the most updated versions of the speaker's presentations to the in-room technicians. This can often be difficult when they are in session. The solution that I set-up was a basic network of computers in each presentation room running a file transfer software to allow me to drop updated presentations from a central "Speaker ready" room.   Currently volunteering with the Victoria Dragon Boat Festival. Recently we produced a Virtual Gala. My role as entertainment lead was to source the equipment, organize, setup, and run the event. Using my audiovisual skills we were able to pull off a very successful event with live-streamed bands and master of ceremonies.
