      As a Statler Fellow within the Statler Leadership Development Program, Brett worked her way up the ranks to Student Front Office Manager. As SFOM, Brett was a part time Assistant Front Office Manager working at least two Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts per week. She had the same responsibilities as full-time managers and was responsible for scheduling over 30 employees, working on financial proposals, and helping to train new employees. She became certified in both front office and housekeeping and worked 50+ hours in the restaurant. Show less

      During the summer between her junior and senior year of college, Brett followed her passions and dreams to Las Vegas and worked as a Concierge at The Venetian. There she helped guests plan full trips to Las Vegas, including shows, dinners, activities, tours, etc. This internship confirmed her love for Las Vegas and passion for the industry. The experience led to her moving out to Las Vegas upon completion of her studies at Cornell University.

      Prior to LRA, Brett worked as Assistant Hotel Manager for Wynn Las Vegas of Wynn Resorts. She represented the executive team as Manager on Duty in researching and resolving myriad guest issues that extended beyond an individual department’s management. Brett served as the face of the hotel when assisting guests in security and risk management issues. She led both hotel room and private property tours, and represented Wynn/Encore at numerous public events. Brett provided support to the Senior Front Office Team in the daily management of the front desk and its employees; including training, evaluating, counseling and scheduling. She was responsible for managing the shift, which included monitoring the front desk lobby, the registration area, and up to twenty scheduled agents.
