      Conducted research and analysis for Senior Economists and Council members on issues ranging from renewable energy and air pollution to healthcare, international trade, and regulations on financial institutions. Selected to produce a two-page analysis of Chinese Social Safety Nets and their effects on consumption, saving, and trade that was included in the briefing packet for the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialog summit.       Led 80 Soldiers and 16 armored fighting vehicles during combat reconnaissance operations. Conducted reconnaissance operations in Syria gathering information that impacted diplomatic and operational decisions made during the US-led Coalition’s successful campaign against ISIS in Raqqa. Established base of operations that sustained daily patrols over 500 square kilometers for four months – developed perimeter defenses, negotiated land acquisition, constructed and contracted life-support systems. Built productive working relationships with local military leaders to enhance communication and diplomatic relations with partner forces. Awarded Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in Syria. Led 143 Soldiers conducting ammunition, maintenance, transportation, fuel, food, and general logistical support for a 600-Soldier Squadron. Planned and executed continuous logistical support for high-intensity operations across 300 square kilometers of hazardous terrain with no interruptions in service. Increased company's performance by 33% through improved organizational culture, streamlined roles/responsibilities, and process improvement. Show less Second-in-command of the unit responsible for the planning, command-and-control, intelligence analysis, and logistical sustainment coordination for a 500-Soldier Cavalry Squadron. Responsible for coordinating and executing the administrative, maintenance, and resourcing requirements for the unit. Planned and executed the shipment of over $10 million of equipment from Afghanistan to Schweinfurt, Germany. Upon return from Afghanistan, planned and executed the movement of 32 vehicles, $20 million of equipment, 132 soldiers and their families, and the unit headquarters offices to Grafenwoehr, Germany to support the closure of the post at Schweinfurt. lead the platoon responsible for conducting fuel, ammunition, water, and food resupply for a 2,300-soldier task force during a deployment to Afghanistan. Led route security patrols and conducted the closure of three combat outposts ahead of schedule in Logar Province, Afghanistan from June – December 2012.
