Project HYDRA: documenting and advising on high-level architecture, low-level feature design, and business requirements. Last four months I was working on a full-scale import-export module able to process data from four file formats (Excel, fixed-length, CSV, and XML) and accept theoretically any variation of file structures without recompilation of the software (including hierarchical structures). The module would simulate comprehensive data validation, including business rules, even if rows within a file had internal dependencies on each other. Jan 2015 - now
      Senior Vice President

      - Was privileged to hire, manage, and mentor some of the best talent in esports. I found this to be my key strength. At our peak, we had 35 professional players and ~20 staff (some paid, some volunteer).- 8 of 10 esports teams we fielded performed at the top 4 level globally.- Qualified for 4 World Championships, won 3 of them.- Wore many hats, from sponsor acquisition to social media and website management to marketing to accounting.- Oversaw most of content production (scripting, filming, and production), and branding direction.- Founded the company with no cash, secured a 6-figure sponsorship, raised $150K in funding, and grew revenue to ~$400K during our best year.- Spoke at multiple esports conventions in front of as many as 100 people at once, and presented in front of many potential investors.- Negotiated deals, reviewed contracts, tracked KPIs.- Managed financials, bank accounts, debt/loans, all staff and player payments, and generally all cash flow.- Spent months fundraising a larger seed round (and ultimately failed at it).Strengths: hiring, driving results, understanding the big picture, being detail-oriented, branding.Working on: empathy, kindness, delegation, not chasing perfection too much.
