During my studies I was contracted with extracting valuable information for clients from a large volume of biometric data. I created a tool that automatically queried, transformed, and summarised the data from a SQL databased and then generated reports with tables and graphical output. The tool significantly reduced the workload and allowed great scalability for future work using Excel and SQL.

Entrants were challenged to create an end-user application that would be actuarially grounded but address a risk management problem of relevance to a typical consumer.
