      AT&T is a multinational conglomerate holding company. It’s the largest provider of fixed telephone services and the second largest provider of mobile telephone services in the United States.I supported in-house construction crews, engineers, and contractors with carrying out equipment installation projects across apartments, buildings, and malls throughout San Diego by carrying out field inspections. In doing so, I ensured the facility met the company’s pre-defined installation requirements and adhered to personal safety standards. To help engineers with placing inspection requests, I created a shared calendar. This involved overseeing fiber network installation for business and residential clients. I defined the project scope, maintained quality, directed schedules and resources, eliminated risk, and ensured on-time and within budget deliveries. I removed project barriers for cross-functional teams including engineers, construction crews, and contract administrators while serving as a subject-matter expert.My biggest success here involved enabling the San Diego County to beat neighboring territories in project backlog reduction and overachieving on on-time performance targets. To achieve this, I initiated weekly calls with team members, KPIs analyses, and status report generation for the senior management and field supervisors. I also generated insights into upcoming weekly targets for managers by creating “a look into next week” reports. To ensure professional development of non-managerial staff, I mentored them on resume writing practices and conducted mock interview sessions. To achieve this effectively, I built a training manual from scratch and conducted presentations to train personnel on analyzing their performance metrics. In order to ensure timely, hassle-free, and cost-effective training for everyone, I held virtual training sessions and one-on-ones with trainees using AT&T Connect.My key accomplishment here involved improving technician productivity by 30% in a month. To do so, I implemented performance monitoring strategies for managers. I also implemented necessary documentation and processes to accurately manage team attendance. Primarily, I led cable and telephone repair activities in high failure rate areas by leading a construction splicer crew in the First Mile group. I ensured adequate installation and maintenance of equipment by providing technical, administrative, and supervisory support. I also served as an MSOC coach in the construction group across California. Secondly, I assisted the organization with safety and quality audits. My biggest achievement here involved establishing the facility as the first in San Diego to achieve 100% audit compliance by developing a hazardous waste disposal/recycling procedure from scratch. I also helped the facility pass other audits including OP78 by training managers and members on safety and quality standards. I was commended by customers for providing high-quality service in terms of identifying and mitigating network communication issues. To do so, I adopted a corrective maintenance strategy. My key achievement here included increasing the air pressure index of pressurized cables up to the industry standard ~20%. I met this target by repairing air leaks. At another instance, I minimized copper cable theft by implementing monitoring strategies and coordinating with recycling centers. I also took legal actions against people caught during theft. By assembling all annual damage theft claims, I helped the company with recovering $600K+ in revenue loss.
