  Junior Engineer

  It was a lively experience to be an intern as junior engineer in the esteemed institute of Rail Wheel Factory (previously known as the Wheel and Axle Plant). It is a cutting-edge facility that meets the majority of the Indian Railways' needs for wheels, axles, and wheel sets in the country. This plant makes wheels using cast steel technology, which employs scrap steel gathered from Railways' own workshops as a raw source. There is limited room for human error in the engineering of the products (Wheels, Axles, and wheel sets). It has a planned production capacity of 23,000 axles, 23,000 wheel sets, and around 70,000 wheels of various sizes.Understanding the fabrication of mechanical components from scrap, utilising engineering methods was learned as part of the academic curriculum, as well the process of procuring raw materials to the ultimate supply of the machined workpiece to its final usage was studied.   It was completely a new experience for me to work as an intern sales consultant at iPLUS Research, which is a premium SEBI-registered Indian stock consulting firm. My interest in financial markets, particularly the Indian stock exchange, extended my perspective on the markets. A fresh outlook on my experience came from understanding the actions and perceptions of retail individual investors regarding market developments. With the help of telephone assistance and CRM data management, I learned how to be accommodating, comprehend the needs of the clients, and provide the best possible service. managing the potential leads for a longer period of time and clearly explaining the services provided and how the service would help the leads in their investment journey. The company did a fantastic job of managing its clients and employees by keeping in touch with them frequently throughout the service time and keeping track of their feedback. During team meetings held at the end of each day, it was made clear how the team should approach clients, and mistakes were fixed.With the help of my manager in charge, I quickly learned how to close deals and turn prospective leads into clients. HR was pleased with my work as I kept prospective leads interested for a longer period of time.
