  Plan and execute Advisory Council meetings. Organize fundraising events in the Spokane area. Meet with government officials locally and in Olympia. Give tours to the general public. Present to service clubs about opportunities the Lighthouse provides for people that are blind or visually impaired. Set fundraising goals to support our Employee Community Services Department in Spokane. Develop plans and strategies around communication, development and Government Relations. Located building materials, transported with pallet jack, prepared material requests using Microsoft Excel, completed work orders by hand using writing guide. Closed work orders using Microsoft Outlook. Assigned employees to production lines as needed. Communicated with management by email, by phone, and face-to-face. Worked with accessibility committee to adapt tasks of position as needed. Utilized heavy machinery to produce a variety of products. Built and packaged products on production line. Worked independently in most departments. Participated in government relations training. Employee of the Year, 2012. Presented to National Industries for the Blind conference attendees about personal experiences.
