Gaa Work Placement (Diversity & Inclusion)

I worked in a team alongside two of my class mates, our supervisor and our lecturers who we were in contact with on a regular basis via Zoom. We had 3 tasks to complete over the 10 weeks of our remote final year work placement. The first task was to develop a Gender Diversity & Inclusion Toolkit that would be sent out to all GAA clubs throughout Ireland. The second task was a review of literature. We had to try and improve the literature where possible by adding in or taking out relevant/irrelevant information. Finally, we developed skill cards for Gaelic football, handball and hurling. These skill cards broke down each skill needed for the 3 sports. They were developed with the intention that they could be easily adapted for people of many different abilities. Show less
