      -Carried a 100% caseload in outpatient neurological rehabilitation at Sugar House Health Center mainly working with individuals who have experienced a stroke, TBI, or concussion.-Implemented novel interventions including vision exercises, driving rehabilitation, neuromuscular re-education, return to work, and therapeutic activities specific to the individual patient's needs and deficits.-Created a visual scanning board with playing cards and flashcards with simple words/pictures to be used for inattention/neglect, gross and fine motor coordination, and visual pursuits and saccades.       Doctoral Capstone Experience

      I completed my doctoral capstone in the acute care setting with a focus on vision and neurological diagnoses. My objectives included carrying a 50-75% caseload, developing vision protocols, and putting together kits based on the Rancho Levels of Cognitive Functioning with items to be used to provide sensory input to various systems to help TBI patients start to improve arousal and attention.
