I assessed funding applications from over 400 student organizations' event proposals and signed-off check requests for event reimbursements. As a Marketing Intern for the Student Programming Funding Board, I was responsible for advertising over $120,000 of funds available for student organizations at UC Irvine. Online social media sites such as Facebook were used to spread awareness of the funds available for students. I was also responsible for the planning and conducting funding workshops for the leaders of student organizations on the funding process, and how to apply for money.
