      I perform various tasks and projects to optimize the firm's operations. I completed and optimized reports in Excel and QuickBooks. For example, I minimized the time to complete a market share report from 2 to 3 hours to around 10 minutes per month. I completely redesigned two storage units that hold roughly 500 boxes of files total to shrink an annual task from 15 to 20 hours to less than 1 hour and reduce potential errors. I also implemented a new filing system that better met the needs of the firm and the storage units. I converted the password management from a static, disorganized document that required manual updates to software that encrypts passwords, allows for centralized access controls, and automatic updates. I also performed specific tasks for managers or attorneys, such as legal research online and in libraries, client assistance, or simple mailing tasks. I also work closely with the marketing manager to explain and prepare data, launch new campaigns, and strategize for future plans. Show less

My team and I completed extensive market research for an AI startup to help them decide which market in the industry to pursue with their technology and software capabilities. We conducted a SWOT analysis for each prospective market, analyzed the competition using a Bloomberg terminal, and researched prospective growth potential. We prepared weekly presentations for the company to display our findings and ideas, ending the semester by presenting our research and conclusions to our client and the American Marketing Association at NC State.
