  In August 2021 I have moved from Realize to Lojas Renner (same group company transfer) to work as a technical leader in a development team for the omnichannel project of the Lojas Renner e-commerce platform. The team I work on is responsible for the entire strategic management of freight quotes, connecting the platform to carrier hubs, internal inventory systems and marketplaces. Given a shopping cart, the main objective is to provide delivery modalities such as: pick up, pick up express, standard, scheduled, according to availability for the customer's destination zip code.The big challenge here is to calculate the best combination that fits all the items in the cart (or as many as possible), taking into account the delivery time, the cost of delivery and the number of shipments required. For this, we have developed a set of scalable high-availability microservices that process a high volume of throughput, we have also implemented high tolerance for faults and contingencies that are triggered automatically through circuit breakers.
