      Apr 2019 - Mar 2021

As a Data Manager, I designed and built eCRF (electronic case response forms) for outcomes studies, performed data aggregation across a wide number of sources (SQL Server, Teradata, Meditech, HL7 via Impala, StafaCT, etc.) to generate rich research datasets, and continued to build powerful research dashboards that could be used to generate study ideas. I continued to design and build custom software solutions for business problems, along with their associated database schemas. As a Data Analyst, I performed data extraction and aggregation with SQL in a Teradata data warehouse, built research dashboards in Power BI, and created research tailored applications in Power Apps with a MS-SQL server back end. I also frequently analyzed processes flows, interviewed stakeholders, then revised processes by building BI and software tools to support and improve stakeholder productivity.

As Manager of the Outcomes Research Data Science group, I lead a team of Data Scientists who execute research to improve patient care and their experiences. Our work covers many domains such as Value Based Care, Prognostic Models, and Device Safety. Our studies cover many disease settings, such as Cancer, Orthopedics, and Infectious Diseases. As a Data Scientist, I am involved in most aspects of outcomes research including data extraction and aggregation, data cleaning, feasibility studies, bio-statistics, predictive modeling, text mining, and manuscript writing. My primary tools are SQL, R, and Python. I've been developing my machine learning skills in NLP and predictive modeling and am focused on maximizing the value of minimal training data. This role was a continuation of the previous when Genospace was a part of Sarah Cannon. See below!
