  ● Utilized computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to create software for the designated application. Additionally, completed informative coursework in space studies and gained an introduction to DevOps practices.● Developed a Bash script to efficiently transfer .fits images into a monitored directory, achieving a rapid rate of 2500 images per hour which could be modified. Implemented dynamic file name and date updates for each image as well as modifying data within each file. This project not only honed my ability to work autonomously within a software development setting but also served as an invaluable learning experience, as it marked my initial exposure to Bash scripting.● Developed a Python Robot script to streamline the execution of the bash script and introduced functionality to retrieve observation counts from a Kafka topic. This initiative not only showcased my ability to orchestrate tasks seamlessly but also demonstrated my adaptability to a team environment, particularly as the group was inexperienced with Python Robot. This experience underscored the significance of collaborative problem-solving and the rapid exchange of ideas to foster efficient learning. Show less
