  I took six months break from work and successfully solo hiked all 2,193 miles of the Appalachian Trail. My adventure took me from Mt. Katahdin Maine, following the Appalachian mountains to Springer Mt. Georgia. I hiked through 14 states, including eight national forests and six national parks.
