  My role as an applications engineer was to visit clients that required process plants to perform specific functions. This included gas handling and scrubbing plants for off-gases from furnaces, sinters and acid leaching reactors, as well as air and gas handling fan systems for a variety of industries.All of these processes needed to be evaluated for a suitable and cost-effective solution to be designed. I then prepared all the process design calculations and tender documentation for submission, which needed to be professional and timeous as well as accurate in costing. Show less
