Micro-surgery course instructor, Yale plastic and reconstructive surgery.Managed The Micro-surgery Laboratory, co-created an educational curriculum for micro-surgery instruction, and contributed to teaching over 16 residents in plastic and reconstructive surgery. The educational curriculum created at Yale, consisted of a micro-surgery training video and an objective assessment tool for microsurgical skill acquisition and evaluation. The educational training video is available at the Hand-e section of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. It has demonstrated its efficacy in training residents. This training method has received positive feedback from residents and fellows around the United States of America and abroad, and selected as one of the integral videos in ¨soft tissue reconstruction¨, having one of the highest rates of views among hand surgery trainees. Member of Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society

Sigma Xi is the world's largest research honor society. It is an international, multidisciplinary organization for research scientists and engineers. Over the course of the Society's distinguished history, more than 200 members have won the Nobel Prize, and many more have earned election to the National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Engineering. One of the proud moments of my career is being recognized for my devotion to my specialty and contributions to science and research. After being selected to become a member, I expanded my professional network and started actively participating in the advocacy program for scientific research and education. This experience showed me the height I have set to achieve in the nearest future and awarded me with a new skill- the skill of not being afraid to fall before I can rise.As a member, I commit to pursuing excellence along with equally motivated colleagues, to voice concerns and offer direction with informed evidence on critically important issues nationally and beyond, and embrace every opportunity to "pay it back" through mentorship and support of the medical profession.
