  Amplitude modulation of terahertz waves using the optical control of phase change materials

  - Developed a graphical interface using Python to facilitate the programming of the DMD device.- Built and characterize optical set-up for transmitting optical laser signal to the DMD and finally to the VO2 sample.- Simulated frequency-selective surfaces between 0.5 and 1.5 THz using CST, and implemented them with a DMD and a 550 nm laser to radiate a VO2 sample.- Analyzed the optical activation of VO2 material using Comsol, triggered by a 550 nm laser.
