      Jan 1992 - Jan 1993
      National Sales and Marketing Manager

I was approached by my friend and fellow cyclist Madonna Harris to help her company establish their flagship product Anti-Flame. Her company "Natures Kiss" started in her partners garage in Wanganui. They had been operating for about 18 months and had approximately 15 accounts that they were supplying with product. After just 12 months of travelling throughout New Zealand I had established over 250 accounts with Physiotherapists and Natural practitioners Nationwide. I am proud of the fact that this paved the way for Anti-Flame to establish some professional credibility and become the success that it is today. Show less

      Managing Director

I launched this company with one demo machine, some point of sale material and a well presented proposal. Yes it can be done. You do not need money to start a company if the market opportunity presents itself. I achieved this by pre-selling 20 sites around the South Island and signing them all to a 36 month rental agreement. I then sold the finance agreements to a third party finance facility. After all was delivered and paid for, I had the working capital to take me to the next step. I eventually built the company to become a significant brand in the marketplace with over 90 sites around the South Island. Show less

I have a very busy and sometimes intense workload however I love to get jobs completed and out of the way quickly and efficiently. This is how I like it. Aside from spending 1/3 of 2015 building this Shake Table, I have also designed and built a Gravity Impact Testing Rig for the Structures Test Hall, Engineering comes as naturally to me as does the technical sales process.
