  -Feeds milk, milk replacer, and water to 70 calves on milk 3 times daily, weans calves on milk based on a 10 day weaning protocol, and feeds water to an additional 30 weaned calves. -Feeds grain to 100 calves based on age and consumption, and tracks intakes-Feeds 3 feedings of colostrum to newborn calves, as well as administering MuSe and First Defense boluses to newborn calves. Weighs newborn calves after 3 feedings and records birth weights on DairyComp 305.-Tracks birth weight, 90 day weight, average daily gain, and death loss data on excel spreadsheet. -Observes and oversees health of calves, identifies illnesses and injuries, and treats issues accordingly.-Monitors maternity area for laboring cows, assists with calvings as necessary.
