About me

As Group Chief Financial Officer of MTN Group, I lead financial strategy across 16 markets in Africa, overseeing capital allocation, treasury, investor relations, tax, financial planning, sourcing, and group governance. I also serve on the boards of key MTN subsidiaries. My career journey has taken me from audit floors to corporate boardrooms — across banks, financial services, and the ICT industry, and now into the heart of digital innovation on the continent. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of serving in executive roles at Telkom, Eskom, FNB, ABSA, and IBM. At MTN, I’ve led efforts to strengthen the balance sheet, deliver multi-billion-rand savings through operational efficiency, and advance the company’s Ambition 2025 strategy — a bold vision for growth, platform transformation, and long-term value creation. I believe finance isn’t just about numbers — it’s about vision, purpose, and impact. It's about anchoring organisations through uncertainty while unlocking sustainable value for all stakeholders.
