  The Research involved understanding the respiratory adaptations of animals, primarily insects to function in different environments. Specifically, we were interested in how aquatic dragonfly larvae used jetting locomotion as their main respiratory mechanism. Therefore, we analyzed the efficiency of dragonfly jetting locomotion along larvae development to determine at what stage, the dragonfly larvae presented maximum efficiency The research involved identifying the coordinated changes in sensory systems and larval physiology associated with freshwater and saltwater specialist mosquitoes. I explored egg-laying and fitness in A.aegypti which is an invasive species of mosquito that cannot tolerate saltwater. These egg-laying behaviors and larvae were observed within different salts including KCl, NaCl, MgCl2, CaCl2, and Na2SO4 using the wing length of adults as a proxy for fitness - Facilitate the delivery of Imagine UBC and Campus Welcome Event to new-to-UBC students and maintain bi-weekly check-ins until December 2021. - In addition, the role involved providing informed and timely referrals to campus resources and opportunities to incoming first-year students to support their transition and build connections among one another. - Worked closely with student-athletes between the ages of 12-18, coaching individuals of all ranges of athletic ability- In addition, monitoring the safety of training, social distancing, individual exercises, and equipment usage/sanitation to avoid sports injuries, infections, and damages to the facility- Communicated effectively with coaches, fellow athletes, and parents to discuss progress, program development, and facility regulations
