  My role as a social worker at Davita is to assist patients adjust to life on dialysis by eliminating barriers in order to help them achieve the quality of life they desire. I refer patient's to available resources on the community, state, and federal level for needed assistance. As a social worker I take a wholistic approach with an emphasis on a strength's perspective to empower patient's to remain compliant with prescribed medications, diet, and treatment.
