      Infantry Platoon LeaderLed 45 Marines in combat deployment to Ramadi, Iraq in 2008 until mid-2009, as a unit leader. I supervised four contract employees and provided project oversight for a $250,000 food service contract in Ramadi, Iraq. On a daily basis, I worked with the contractors to assign work, develop performance standards, enforce disciplinary actions, and monitor contractors progress and performance to ensure compliance with all contract terms and conditions. Corporal (E-4) to Staff Staff Sergeant (E-6, meritorious promotion ) U.S. Marine Security Guard, served in one year tours at the U.S. Embassy in Rome, Italy and Pristina, Kosovo. The final year, spent at the U.S. Marine Security Guard Headquarters in Quantico, VA as a recruiter for program. Small unit leader, for my second combat deployment to support Operation Iraqi Freedom II, and led Marines into the first battle of Fallujah, Iraq. Lance Corporal, USMC Served, as an infantrymen in the most decorated Marine Corps unit, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, after Bootcamp, from January 2002 until January 2005. We led the initial invasion into Iraq, to support Operation Iraqi Freedom, from January 2003 until June 2003.

Manages five direct reports, 45 security officers, and six contractors, and a $10.8 million capital improvement and operational budget. Monitors and analyzes real-time threats and behavioral issues that pose a threat to APS operations, such as cybersecurity breaches, violent actions and statements from students, staff, and the community. Weekly, delivers timely, tailored, digestible, and clear threat assessment information to a multi-disciplinary team that includes law enforcement, Directors of Public Health, Counseling and Psychological Support, School Administration, and the Public Communications Officer to analyze the ongoing threat landscape across the school district.Leads Emergency Management operations for the school district. This school year, consulted with local government officials and interagency partners to update the district wide Emergency Operations Plan.Coordinated APS disaster response and crisis management activities for several emergency operations.Delivered Emergency Management training to over 600 staff. Led and managed multiple physical and technical security enterprise-wide improvement projects valued at over $6 million, that included physical hardware and technical software.
