      Plane Captain/Electrician's Mate

      After boot camp I completed 6 months of intensive Electrician's Mate Training. Upon entering my permanent duty station, NAS Lemoore, I was directed to report to VFA-125 to work as a Plane Captain on the F-18 Hornet. Afterwhich I became a certified Plane Captain on board an aircraft Carrier and on land. I was promoted to E-4 in 1989 and was Honorably Discharged from Active Duty in January 1990. I concluded my 8 year obligation in Minneapolis in 1994.
