My students were immensely motivated and hard-working, and I am still friends with and advocates for many of them. I also served as an assistant coach for the freshman football team during my first semester at Agua Fria, and then spent two years leading the JV soccer program as its head coach. During this time, I planned and coordinated a tournament for 8 high schools in Maricopa county, fundraising enough money to support the soccer program's yearly operating budget. Show less
