The team demonstratedstrong collaboration & proactiveness in driving this important initiative. This was the culmination of extensive planning and a lot of behind-the-scenes action that went into deliberating over the required skill sets & qualifications, identifying the right colleges, designing a rigorous assessment process, and finally visiting the campuses for the recruitment drive. Once the decision to set up a COE in India was formalized in order to provide ongoing support to the Global Compliance team, Akansha was… Show more Akansha has played a pivotal role ( supporting the business in setting up a Global Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE) in India, through effective collaboration with the Emerging Asia Compliance Lead and Global Compliance team. She has demonstrated high ownership and a great sense of urgency in leading the entire hiring and onboarding efforts end-to-end. Once the decision to set up a COE in India was formalized in order to provide ongoing support to the Global Compliance team, Akansha was very prompt and quickly jumped into action. She started interacting closely and regularly with all the keystakeholders, identified the right set of recruitment consulting firms to work on the search process, proactively scheduled introductory meetings between the hiring managers and representatives of the recruitment consulting firms to kick off the hiring, and led the entire process cycle starting from screening & interviews to the rollout of offers to onboarding of the new hires. As a result of her strong efforts and dedication, we have already successfully closed 13 positions, with the majority of the candidates having already joined us and some more slated to join us over the next 2-3 months. Akansha also played a pivotal role in the successful execution of Development Month. She successfully managed the communication, facilitation and logistics aspects for the various workshops/sessions planned as part of Development Month in June and July 2021, thus ensuring that we have an impactful two months of learning & development interventions for all our employees.
