  I worked as a part 135 Captain for Boutique Air flying the Super King Air 350 and Pilatus PC-12 out of Denver International Airport to: Utah, Nebraska, Arizona, Kansas, and New Mexico. Boutique Air is a part 135 scheduled charter operation that primarily provides Essential Air Service (EAS) with some private charter. The pilots have a lot of responsibility beyond what many consider to be typical airline pilot duties. This helped me to gain perspective and appreciation for some of the other facets of flying. For example: We de-iced our own aircraft, loaded/unloaded bags, cleaned the aircraft, topped off the engine oil ourselves, and many other responsibilities. It required good teamwork and proper resource allocation to maintain successful on-time operations.These increased responsibilities helped to curate a well rounded perspective that continues to serve me today.   I was a First Officer on the CRJ 200/700/900 Flying out of Detroit MI, Colorado Springs CO, and Denver CO. During my time here I flew all over the United States including some international flying to Canada. This gave me a ton of experience with hundreds of big and small airports. The training and experience I gained while here were invaluable and continue to shape the pilot I am today. I decided to resign from this position due to low QOL after 14 months of service. While I appreciate my time here for what I gained as a pilot, I do not miss it. Show less
