  The technical services for operations in Senegal was in a downwards spiral, with very poor results, assignment was to turn the organization around so we could start developing it and roll out results to rest of region.- The responsibility was on a cluster basis so the overall technical services strategy stretched over 5 countries (Mauritania, Mali, Guinea Bissau, Gambia, and Senegal). - Provided technical guidance for terminal managers and recommended stock levels and procedures in setting up effective equipment management systems.- Provided expertise to countries outside the cluster, such as Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Cameroon and Guinea Conakry.- Developed and implemented maintenance plans/schedules/ and records keeping to maintain fleet in cost effective resulting in a minimum of unexpected downtime of equipment.- Managing workshop services staff, setting goals and objectives to cater for the terminal handling equipment and trucking fleet.
