  As a Deputy Commercial Manager in our project team, I reported directly to Commercial Manager and Project Manager, our project is based in Qatar, valued $226M of which $120M oversea purchase and $40m local purchase, include detailed design, supply of materials and construction of water transmission pipelines and associated fiber optic cables of which approx. 74.60 km of 1600 mm dia., 35 m of 1400 mm dia. and 15.1 km of 1200mm including branch connections from new desalination plant QEZ.Since project had been awarded at year of 2014, I initiated the procurement system, specified procedures and proceed the work as: • Seeking reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable • Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, customs logistic agency, relevant internal departments, Consultant and Client • Negotiating prices and contracts • Reviewing technical specifications for raw materials, components • Forecasting upcoming demand • Determining quantity and timing of deliveries • Processing payments and invoices • Attending meetings and trade conferences • Training and supervising the work of other members of staff • Assist in Primavera 6 for project planing and assembling for claim Show less
