  During my time as a Senior Software Engineer within Red Hat, I created the main exception handling paradigm within Seam 3, oversaw the transfer of Seam 3 and Solder (CDI Extensions) to the Apache Foundation and helped create Apache DeltaSpike. I also became the maintainer for awestruct, a static site generator built in Ruby. I was the lead engineer for Red Hat JDF, JBoss Developers and the Red Hat Developer Program. I have also migrated the Red Hat Developer Program to Drupal 8, and contributed to a number of other Open Source projects within the Java space including JBoss Forge, Arquillian, Hibernate, and Apache DeltaSpike.I have also presented at many conferences both nationally and internationally, including but not limited to JavaOne (now CodeOne), Devoxx BE, Devoxx MA, JavaLand, Red Hat Summit, and DevNexus.
