  Organizing, coordinating, prepping, and reporting on the monthly SPIE.Online Women in Optics Spotlight Series. Conducting speaker payout and supporting marketing in their promotion efforts. The series is hosted by Dr. Jess Wade and features a presentation and interview with a prominent woman thought leader in the field of optics and photonics. Each session is followed by a networking session, which I facilitate on Zoom meetings. Prior to January 2021, I was also producing the SPIE.Online EDI Live Chat Series. Respecting the reality of Zoom fatigue, we incorporated EDI topics highlighted in that series into our SPIE.Online Career Development Series. Show less Oversee and coordinate all student chapter programs. Lead organizer and facilitator of leadership workshops and professional development workshops for US and international students. Advise students on benefits, courses, and events. Work with volunteers to develop and establish criteria for evaluating success of student programs. Effectively communicate with students, professors, staff, and committee members to plan student events and services. Manage Student Social Media Channels and prep communications for our blog. Work with the SPIE Chief Diversity Officer to plan, coordinate, and facilitate Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion events, funding programs, and initiatives.
