      Head Fluorescence Cytometry

      The core facility is responsible for the maintenance of confocal (Leica SP1, SP5) and various microscopes (e.g. Olympus IX-81, ZellScanner ONE) as well as for flow cytometers (FACSCalibur, FACSCantoII, 2x LSRII, 2x MQ10, MQ16, FACSymphony A1 and A3, FACSLyric) and cell sorters (FACSAriaIIIu, S3, and soon Discover S8). Furthermore we give training lessons, personal training on the instruments and individual guidance. This practical and theoretical training of employees is a main focus. Other services include counseling and assistance in experimental design and analysis. For complex methodical approaches cooperations with the respective research groups are carried out.
