Managed a major initiative to select residents from the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program waiting list to assist Newark's housing needs and increase the Housing Authority's voucher utilization. Led relocation efforts for residents housed at two Public Housing sites scheduled for major redevelopment by the Newark Housing Authority.

  Director, Mayor's Office of Homeless Services

  Appointed by Mayor Ras J. Baraka as the Director of the City’s first Office of Homeless Services in early 2022. In this role I oversee the Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services, its programs and activities, and lead the Mayor’s initiatives and projects that aim to end chronic homelessness in the City. In late 2022, my office launched Newark's first Homelessness Strategic Plan. This plan was developed with support from consumers, community partners, business leaders, and stakeholders and focuses on key strategies that will reduce street homelessness, improve the shelter system, and expand housing.
