  Audio Engineer and Technician for live performances in a late 19th century theater. This is an architecturally unique theater seating ~275 people, with superb acoustics, a raked auditorium, and a raised stage floor. After sitting dormant for decades, the Edwards Arts Council was formed in 2002 to oversee whatever repairs and rehabilitation were necessary in order to preserve the historic Town Hall that housed the theater. Northern Music & Video was contracted to design and install an audio system to support life performances, mostly of notable touring folk musicians, but also of regional rock, country, and indie bands as well as comedians and small peforming arts groups.The designed incoporated DBX DriveRack equipment which provided independent channels of processing power with a linkable 28-Band Graphic equalizer, industry-standard dbx® stereo compressor module, feedback eliminator and the 120A Subharmonic Synthesizer on the input, and six channel outputs system that includes parametric EQs, and Peak Plus™ limiters (which are used to provide protection against speaker blowouts) as well as alignment delay. My involvement after the initial installation including "tuning" the room using pink noise and a RTA to make necessary frequency adjustments to the system.
