Show less Yorkshire Peat Partnership is one of the largest conservation projects in Europe whose aim is to restore all of Yorkshire's 70,000 hectares of degraded blanket bog. Organising and managing surveying and restoration planning, managing implementation of capital works and overseeing contractors on site and monitoring restoration success. Lead officer managing the implementation of partnership funded projects. Working with Natural England, DEFRA, Yorkshire Water, Environment Agency, other NGOs and coonservation projects, landowners, gamekeepers, farmers, National Park Authorities, County Councils, Moorland Associations and Commoners Associations to deliver the best outcomes for peatlands and all stakeholders.Tendering for and securing funding as part of £2.6 million revenue for the project.
