  I served an indentured apprenticeship from 16 years of age with Plessey Company Ltd covering all aspects of toolmaking, machining, fabrication work electrical and inspection. During my apprenticeship I worked in several development model shops, production areas and in the companies technical drawing design office.

  I worked as a toolmaker manufacturing press tools, jigs, fixtures and special purpose machines for the production of Garrard record changers and the high fidelity 401 and Zero 100 turntables for the world wide high quality music markets.

  I produced mould tooling mainly for the Metal Box Company Ltd encompassing the food packaging industries. I was involved in the manufacture high specification aerospace and automotive components, jigs and inspection fixtures for over 50 companies world wide, notably Land Rover, Metal Box, Fabrication Nationale and Boeing Aircraft Ltd.

  I was involved in the manufacture of high precision prototype diamond blade cutting machine tools for the silicon chip and magnet technology industries including the building of special purpose experimental machines for the production of small electric motors, toolmaking and quality control and inspection duties.

  I was employed at Retrac Productions as a Toolmaker and CNC Lathe programmer, operator for the manufacturing of Formula 1, Automotive and Aerospace high specification close tolerance components. I am proud to say that my component work has been part of Formula One racing cars mainly for McLaren and Williams Grand Prix teams that have helped to win 4 World Championships between them with Mika Hakkinen twice, Damon Hill and Nigel Mansell. I have also designed and manufactured jigs, fixtures and component parts for Rolls Royce, Rover U.K. and Honda U.K. Ltd. Aerospace works which have included the manufacture of inspection equipment for the Euro Fighter. Show less

  I was employed at Chesnee Winows which is a small local company to manufacture and install high quality Rehau and Schuco replacement windows and conservatories. I also manufactured and installed glass units for replacement windows and carried out a number of general commercial and residential property renovations which have included plumbing, maintenance and decoration works.

Managing logistics, problem solving and delivery of all property services.
